Xiaomi has launched its first bezel-less handset in India today, Mi Mix 2 . This handset was launched in China last month and is the successor to last year's Mi Mix, which was Xiaomi's first bezel-less smartphone. Here is all that the Mi Mix 2 offers:


Price and availabilityThe Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is priced at Rs 35,999 and will first be made available first through flash sale on October 17 on Flipkart and Xiaomi's official website Mi.com. After that, the handset will be available starting the first week of November both online and offline.

DisplayThe Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2160 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi claims that the chin size is 12% smaller than its predecessor Mi Mix.

DesignThe Mi Mix 2 has an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame with a ceramic rear panel.

Storage
The Mi Mix 2 comes with a 6GB RAM and non-expandable 128GB internal storage.

OS
The Mi Mix 2 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with company's MIUI 8.5.1.0 layer on the top. The company announced that it will also receive Android 8.0 Oreo update by December.

Processor
The device is powered by a 2.4GHx octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.

Camera
Mi Mix 2 comes with a 12MP rear camera with IMX386 camera image sensor and 4-axis optical image stabilisation. It offers two-tone flash, PDAF autofocus, Burst modes to name a few. On the front, the handset sports a 5MP camera that has 36 smart beauty profiles. It also offers up to 4K video recording capability.

Battery

The Mi Mix 2 has a USB-Type C reversible connector and is powered by a 3,400mAh lithium-ion battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
